The Braves move up to the top spot thanks to the Playoff loss of Virginia State. Alcorn State now plays a team they beat back in September ( 9/27/14) by a score of 56-16 ! That team would be 3rd ranked Southern, who ASU will face in the SWAC  Championship on December 6th!

#2  North Carolina A&T
9-3
Co-MEAC  Champs 

The Aggies were the #1 Team  2 weeks ago and in the drivers seat to win the MEAC conference Title out right and get an automatic bid into the FCS Play-offs ,But The Eagles of North  Carolina Central killed all of that beating A&T 21-14 putting an end to the  Aggies Season!

#3  Southern
9-3

The Jags are making noise  winning the 41st annual "Bayou Classic " 52-45  over Grambling State !  Now the Jags play for not only the SWAC title,But the HBCU National title on December 6th when they face top ranked Alcorn State. Earlier this  season Southern lost to Alcorn state by  40 points! 

#4  Virginia State

CIAA Champs 

Wow! what a season for the Trojans of Virginia State ! The CIAA Champions season has come to an end in the second round of the D-2 Playoffs with a 35-14 loss at the hands of Bloomsburg!  The slip drops the Trojans out of my top spot which they held a week ago,but we all have to  Congratulate  VSU for being one of only 3 HBCU teams to make the post season playoffs! 

#5  Bethune -Cookman

Co-MEAC  Champs 

The Wildcats finished off their season a week ago  winning the Florida Classic 18-17  over FAMU! Coach Brian Jenkins and BCU were number one to start this season!

#6  Tuskegee
9-2
SIAC Champs 

The Golden Tigers were eliminated from the post season in the first round of the  D-2 Playoffs 20-17  to West Georgia !

#7 Winston -Salem State
9-2

Winston -Salem State was Ram tough this season , just like the Dodge truck! That was until they got a flat tire at the hands of Virginia State in the CIAA title game 2 weeks ago putting an end to their season.

# 8 South Carolina State
8-4
Co-MEAC  Champs 

The Bulldogs  closed out their  season last week  beating my Alma mater  Norfolk State 30-20! The Bulldogs Share the MEAC  title with 4 other teams.

 # 9  Grambling State
7-6

The G-Men lost the high scoring battle in the 41st annual "Bayou Classic" 52-45  to the Jaguars of Southern and close out their season on a losing note, but remain in the 9th spot !  

#10  Morgan State
7-6
Co-MEAC Champs 

The Bears have to be the surprise of the 2014 HBCU season ! MEAC coach of the year and first year bears head coach  Lee Hull lead his MSU Bears to  an automatic bid in the FCS Playoffs ! 

The Co-MEAC Champs  fell behind early to the Spiders of Richmond  and could not come back  losing 46-24 . 

 There is only one Game that you have to watch this week :
